RED (Radio Equipment Directive) compliance
The RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC came into force on 1st July 2006 and restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment within the European Market, although it is also widely referred to as the ‘Lead Free Directive’.
From 1st July 2006 any new electronic or electrical equipment sold in the EC must not contain these hazardous substances in excess of the permitted levels although there are some specific exceptions.
As a distributor of MultiTech connectivity products Alpine has simplified the identification process by applying new part numbers to each product. The new part numbers will clearly indicate that the product complies with the RoHS Directive.
Alpine is fully committed to the aims and requirements of the RoHS Directive.
We guarantee that all our customers will have immediate access to RoHS compliant parts as soon as they are available.
If you have any queries regarding RoHS compliant components or devices within the Multi-Tech product range please do not hesitate to contact us.
